The after party

So the Oscars 2012 have just been and gone and it's an event that I really look forward to. Watching on TV  and then of course the magazines filled with pictures for weeks afterwards.

But the best thing I like to see is who wore what to the After Party.

Personally I think it shows much more to somebodies taste and personality as it tends to be slightly more low key, not as many cameras to tend with and well, the main event is over with all the parading and they can actually enjoy themselves.

Here are some to lust over! My favourite is Cameron - bold, sassy, orange number by Victoria Beckham. Gorgeous.

Shailene Woodley wore a really pretty Proenza Schouler. Simple lines but a fun floral print.

Jennifer Lopez is still wearing a full on gown but I can't remember the last time she wore a nearly black or black dress on a red carpet, and I think she looks stunning. Lovely Aubergine colour.

All shades of Red

The closest I have ever come to dying my hair red was my first ever dye in a sachet. I must have been about eleven years old and I wanted something to 'tint up' my hair. It was the usual mahogany shade and when it caught the light, you could see a slight tint of red. Nothing ground-breaking. But I have never gone that crazy red, you know?

But do I love it.

There is something about Red that just screams stylish. You can have curly hair, poker straight or chopped off into a short bob and it just screams Siren. For me, I instantly think of those George Michael music videos with supermodels all over the shop.

I felt inspired to dig up some beautiful photos of a few red heads.

Maybe I'll take the plunge and go from being a brunette to a Ravishing Redhead.

Maybe.
